WHAT O'CONNOR SAID
O'Connor said, via : "It took us a while to get going in League Two. But the last few months, we have got a foothold and got used to the league so hopefully we can go up another gear and push on. It's a tough league and there are a lot of decent sides around the top of it. It is never going to be easy, especially after coming up last season, but we have got a good squad with good quality in it so we do expect to be up there.
"We are in a good position. We are up there but there's a lot of football to be played still. There will be lots of teams pushing to break into that top-three so we will be looking to keep our standards high and try and stay up there come the end of the season."

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned side are second in the table, two points behind leaders Stockport County with a game in hand. There is currently a three-point buffer between Wrexham and the play-off places, although fourth-place Barrow have played one game more.
